For investigation purposes, please provide the name of the mobile device (most likely an Android device) that you're using as well as its operating system version. In addition to that, please provide additional details about the email that you receive which asked you to verify. Is it about the verification of your account or others of some sort? If you are getting an error message when connecting the app, please provide the exact message as well.
For now, you can also try contacting Emoze app for support. They might have some settings or instructions that might help you resolve the problem.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT I9500 with andriod 4.2.2 Jelly bean os.
the message i received was as follows
from Microsoft Account Team
It looks like you are signing into (remove PII) from a new location.
to Help protect your account we've blocked access to your inbox, contacts list and calender.
to regain access, please verify your account.
there is the a blue link with verity your account
below the message.
i click on it and sign in but still not luck in connecting the app to my account.
i have contacted Emoze and they have said that maybe my password is too weak. so i have changed it and still not luck.
can you please help
it is a good app if i can get it to work properly with my account.
i have no problem with connecting using the outlook app but then that is microsofts lol

We have recently implemented a security update called Familiar location protection to keep our customers’ accounts secure. The message 'You haven’t signed in from this location recently.' Will occur if you are signing in from a location more than 300 miles from your normal location. The Microsoft account service will prompt you for an additional challenge to complete the log in.
Codes can be the date of birth, or receiving a code sent to your SMS number or alternate email if configured. This will be lesser over time as the system determines a legitimate pattern for your log ins and have developed a legitimate reputation.
a. Login to your account.
b. Copy and paste the link in the address bar:
https://blu158.mail.live.com/P.mvc#!/mail/options.aspx?subsection=12&n=556230082c. Select the language you want to use.
d. Click the Save Button at the bottom of the language choices

Did as you suggested and followed the instructions you sent but still no joy with the app :(
Lil wayne like father like son album download. This is getting frustrating that a simple thing as logging into your hotmail email from your chosen app on your smart phone is causing such an issue.
and no way you can verify that the app that is trying to communicate with your account is actually you and that you can approve it.
instead we are stuck here

Hi Alex Pefanis, As I understand the issue, you cannot push through the installation of the app because it is prompting you to verify your ownership of the account first before you are able to get a full control of your account and its services through phone. But somehow, the link to verification doesn't work.To help you understand more about the issue, please read the article on this link.

- In what mobile app did you receive the error message?
- What is your mobile device name, type and OS?

- Have you enabled the two-step verification on your account? If yes, you will need to have an app password to access your account when using a mail app from your mobile device.

Hi Levi_I It's not an error message as such, more of a notification/error email. It says: 'Microsoft Account Verify your account, it looks like you are signing in to [my email address] from a new location. To help protect your account, we've blocked access to you inbox, contacts list and calendar. To regain access, please verify your account'
It then has a link to press to verify. Pressing the link takes me to my Outlook.com email account but does nothing more. I still cannot use the mail app.
The mobile app I am using is called Emoze (available in Google Play store here). The mobile phone I am using is the Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.1.2. I have enabled 2-step-authentication on my account and I have created an app password.
I have also responded to the PM sent to me asking for the email address affected.
